Trump Says He Knew Biden Would Fall at Some Point and Joe Is Slipping in Other Areas, as Well

Donald Trump seems to be getting back into campaign form with his showing in the last couple of days of him talking with the press. As I wrote here yesterday at Red State, Trump on Why He Is Speaking out as an Ex-President, ‘They Are Destroying Our Country’, there’s a reason he is doing this.

“The reason I weigh-in is very simple,” Trump said, “they’re destroying our country. Very simple. It can’t get simpler than that. They are destroying our country. And they’re going to destroy it with tax increases the likes of which nobody has ever seen before in order to accomplish the ‘Green New Deal’ nonsense. They’re destroying it with woke – when China looks at woke they see the biggest problem we have is Dr. Seuss. In the meantime, they’re building factories and trying to kill us in so many different ways.”

As I noted in the article above I wholeheartedly agree with this tactic. The country is in a bit of a quandary due to the actions of previous Presidents (or lack thereof), who then, after leaving office, just coast in a carefree life. Which, quite frankly, most of those actions (China China China) just leave the country in a bad spot farther down the road.

Trump is not built that way, obviously, he wants to stay involved. If you have trouble believing me, then you must check out his latest comments regarding Joe Biden’s tripping forward last week during a short walk up the flight of stairs to Air Force One. The former President pulled no punches in his analysis of what is going on with Joe.

From the ever so amusing New York Post

Former President Donald Trump on Monday said that he expected President Biden’s fall on the steps of Air Force One — and that he also believes Biden’s mental state may be diminished to the point that he may not understand what he’s signing, opening the door to Kamala Harris replacing him.

“I expected it, actually,” Trump said in a Newsmax interview about Biden falling three times up the stairs of Air Force One on Friday.

“When I went down the ramp at West Point, which was like a sheet of ice with no railing, no nothing — great planning — I wanted to go inch by inch because the last thing I want to do is take a tumble like Biden did. Now that tumble was terrible and it wasn’t really one, it was three.”

Trump told Newsmax host Greg Kelly that he believes that Biden may also be in mental decline and too confused to read the papers he signs containing presidential dictates.

Now, in all fairness to Joe, he was also confused when he was in the Senate palling around with his good friend Robert Byrd. No one has ever confused Biden as someone operating with a competent mind. Even his friends behind the scenes have admitted that.

Trump did bring up during the campaign that he thought Joe would not be long for the Presidency if he were to win and that the plans would need to be worked out to move Joe aside at some point with Kamala Harris. The former President added in this interview that he doesn’t think that would be the best thing to happen.

“Look, I hope — that’s a very serious thing and I hope that never happens.”

We might be witnessing the re-emergence of Trump into the national conversation. With news reports stating that he is creating a social media platform and is getting ready to campaign for candidates in 2022 even if they were not fans of him, this is a welcome sign. Most of the NeverTrump types never stopped to consider that Trump-free of the Presidency could be a more destructive force for their pet causes than Trump in the White House.

The presidency has a lot of perks and power but if leveraged the right way, so does being a former president willing to mix it up like he is running for something.

Let’s see what Don #45 has in store for the rest of the year.
