Stacey Abrams Is Trolling Democrats Running for President to Pick Her as V.P.

In this pool image from video, Stacey Abrams delivers the Democratic party's response to President Donald Trump's State of the Union address, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, from Atlanta. Abrams narrowly lost her bid in November to become America's first black female governor, and party leaders are aggressively recruiting her to run for U.S. Senate from Georgia. Speaking from Atlanta, Abrams calls the shutdown a political stunt that "defied every tenet of fairness and abandoned not just our people, but our values." (Pool video image via AP)

I guess that Hillary leak over the weekend with Bloomberg picking Clinton as his V.P. choice got Stacey off the fence to announce that she is really really interested in something. I mean other than not being the Governor of Georgia, as she lost that election and still has not conceded it.

Real pro stuff.

So on the cackle fest known as “The View” earlier today, Ms. Abrams was asked about what is rattling around in her mind about the current contest for President and she had these words to say.

From ABC News

Stacey Abrams, the former Georgia gubernatorial candidate who’s now focusing on tackling voter suppression head on, said she “absolutely” sees herself running for president one day, but for the 2020 cycle, she “would be honored” to run for vice president with whoever the Democratic nominee is.

“Why should we not want someone to have the power to fix the problems and the brokenness that we have?” Abrams told the hosts of ABC’s “The View.” “I want to do good, and there is no stronger platform than president of the United States. And that’s a position I want to one day hold.”

“It would be doing a disservice to every woman of color, every woman of ambition, every child who wants to think beyond their known space for me to say no or to pretend, ‘Oh, no, I don’t want it,'” she said. “Of course I want it. Of course I want to serve America. Of course I want to be a patriot and do this work.”

So, while she is busy not being the Governor of Georgia, she is currently out raising dough for fighting voter suppression which she blames for her not winning the Governorship. She also has not endorsed anyone running for President — which makes sense, being her side of the aisle is currently involved in a historic #$%^&* which she and the rest of humanity have no idea how it will turn out.

Yet still,  this is some really impressive trolling here.

She announces that she wants to run for President one day while not wanting to run this cycle but HEY… if you want to pick me as your V.P.,  I’m totally cool with that. This lady has some gumption. No wonder she thought it was righteous to not concede a race she clearly lost.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that no one is going to pick Stacey Abrams as their V.P. candidate for a very simple reason.

She wants the job really badly.

If you are willing to lobby on national T.V. to the six or seven people who are beating the crap out of each other to win the top job and you are sitting on the sideline eating popcorn and just waiting for the bloodbath to end, you are not worthy. No way and no how is that going to happen.

I do have to say, though, she does have a style all her own and at the rate she is going now, she might actually run for President in 2028 or beyond. The only question will be: If she runs and loses the Presidency will she actually concede? Or pretend she won that also?

Only time will tell.
