Don’t hate me for saying this but…I really want to see this matchup again.

As I have been following the ramp-up to the Iowa caucuses next Monday and the hate-on-Bernie parade that Hillary started Everyone Hates Bernie: The Latest to Pile On Is Joe Biden, I have said something a number of times.

Hillary is NOT running.

Her shellacking of Bernie in her soon to be released documentary where she said no one likes him was the clearest indication to me. You don’t piss off the most active and vocal base of the Democrats and then ask for their vote.

Yet here we are where she just can’t let it go that she might run.

Hillary Clinton said in a new interview that she can’t help but feel “the urge” to run against President Trump again.

The twice-failed presidential candidate made the comment Monday during a filmed interview with Variety magazine at the Sundance Film Festival after the debut of Nanette Burstein’s “Hillary,” a four-hour docuseries that follows her political career.

Variety’s Ramin Setoodeh asked Mrs. Clinton, “I know that you’re not running, but do you ever feel the urge that like, ‘I could beat him if I were’ or like ‘I wish…’”

“Yeah,” the former first lady and secretary of state responded. “I certainly feel the urge because I feel the 2016 election was a really odd time and an odd outcome. And the more we learn, the more that seems to be the case.

“But I’m going to support the people who are running now and do everything I can to help elect the Democratic nominee,” she said.

Now I know some people are going to say AHHHH-HA she did not say she was not running again. Have fun splitting your atoms.

Hillary no doubt wakes up in a cold sweat that she was robbed twice from her rightful place as the first woman President of the United States. I’m sure there is nothing she would love more than to take another run at the Presidency. However, the fact of the matter is the Democratic party does not want her, the country is burned out from all things Clinton and because of all that she is not running.

She is leading the band of making sure Bernie does not get the nomination but she is never running again. Ever. Not ever, ever.

I’m not saying this because I fear her, I would LOVE for her to run again. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to send her campaign headquarters maps of how to get to Wisconsin and things to do there in the summer and fall? Hell, I bet we could get former Governor Scott Walker to lead the charge for that, being as he has a great sense of humor. It would be a damn hoot.

Hillary may say these things. I wish that she was serious. Yet commonsense tells us her time has passed and she will be happy to play the role of spoiler for Bernie.

I do wish it were not the case, as I have at least three maps of Wisconsin to donate to the cause.

Dammit.
