No one has ever said that Mike Bloomberg is a super-duper warm and fuzzy guy. This story might be the reason why no one has ever assumed that.
It seems that way back in the day when Bloomberg was still “Wall St Guru Bloomberg” and not Mayor of New York, he was sued for saying some not nice things. Those words and his attitude put him on the receiving end of a lawsuit in 1997. Bloomberg settled the case in 2000 just as he was ramping up his run to be the Mayor.
According to the National Review…
Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg allegedly told a female employee,”kill it!” when she told him she was pregnant, according to the former Bloomberg executive’s 1997 lawsuit.
The lawsuit filed in New York by Sekiko Sakai Garrison alleges Bloomberg followed up his first remark with another offensive comment, “Great! Number 16,” apparently referring to the number of pregnant employees on his payroll.
Sakai Garrison also claimed Bloomberg pointed out another woman to her and remarked, “If you looked like that, I would do you in a second.”
”Sexual harassment and sexual degradation of women at Bloomberg was pervasive,” the lawsuit states.
Can you imagine what he would have said if she brought Big Gulps to work? He would have literally become unhinged.
Do you know what Liz “Fauxcahontas” Warren is going to do with this? She already hates Bloomberg for being a billionaire and now that he has been accused of harassing women and threatening to “do them” in a second. She is absolutely going to go on the warpath if he ever gets above 10% in polling.
Oy vey.
Actually, Liz might be down with the abortion crack but the rest of it HAS TO GO.
Seems that Mike also has liked to use not so nice words and terms to all different creeds of people. Why he has been said to have called our friends south of the Rio Grande “Jumping Beans” and made an odd statement about the work that a nanny would do. A really weird statement.
This was such a nonsecret of how he talked in the workplace that his colleagues actually put together a book in 1990 called the “Portable Bloomberg” according to a story late last fall in The New York Times. Bloomberg’s spokesperson in the Times article, Stu Loeser, has said that Mike knows he was a bad boy and he is much better now.
Whew. Glad we got that cleared up.
However, why does it always seem that those that are so blithe to the unborn, are also vehement in their wanting to disarm people who are lawful in owning guns for protection? Mike Bloomberg has no need to call the police and wait, he has private security. The rest of us it is just c’est la vie if you get hurt or killed.
Could it be both with the unborn and the victims of crimes, they are both innocent and people who think like Mike Bloomberg just don’t have much compassion for those innocent people and soon to be fully viable people?
Nah. I’m sure it is much deeper than that.
Possibly creepy evil.
