This is not a story that breaks any news but it is a ha-ha moment that anyone who supports President Trump will enjoy.

Trump has a higher approval rating than the media. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it CNN and MSNBC.

As the clash between Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren continues to be fueled by media reports, progressive commentator Kyle Kulinski pointed out that a recent Gallup poll put Donald Trump’s approval rating at 45 percent. He noted that this number is higher than Americans’ trust in mass media, which was clocked at 41 percent in a previous Gallup poll in September.

“President Donald Trump’s description of the media as ‘the enemy of the people’ has undoubtedly colored the views of all Americans,” the pollster wrote.

Trump has always been at a solid 37 to 40 percent in his approval numbers. That he jumped up in this Gallup poll to 45% is a decent sign leading into the 2020 Presidential silly season. However, the part that is really funny is that the media has a lower approval them him and I have to believe that he loves that fact.

The idea that Trump calls the media “Enemy of the People” is not the reason though this is happening. The fact is that you can catch any of the media outlets on NEWS PROGRAMS shading things to fit the narrative they want.

Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram at Fox News are NOT journalists. No one should take them as such either. They are opinion talking heads and should be treated as such. Fox has straight news programs like “Special Report with Brett Bair” and I dare someone to tell me if there is a slant in that show. CNN and MSNBC pretend to have news programs and they are not remotely close to being impartial and thier ratings show it.

So if the media organizations just reported news and let the opinion pages and commentaries do their thing they would have a higher approval rating than Trump.

However, that would have not entertained POTUS #45 as much after finding out this news.
