When one of America’s greatest attorneys ( just ask him) Michael Avenatti, has to ask the Feds to provide legal counsel for himself, you know he is having a semi-bad day, week, month, life.

The great ALLAHPUNDIT over at Hot Air has a story detailing how Avenatti has hit hard times and needs the taxpayers to kick in for his defense.

Now I’m not deriding public defenders or the need for them, just that Stormy Daniels former loud mouthpiece claimed how great of an attorney he was/is. As ALLAHPUNDIT points out in his piece above, if Avenatti is so good he should have no problem wiping the floor with the Federal prosecutors.

Also, very few people are commenting on this in the MSM and on new places like Twitter. There is a WEALTH of material as noted by Scott Greenfield’s tweet.

Avenatti is "financially unable to employ counsel" and will be represented by Federal Defenders.

How could this have happened to such a prominent rising star within the CNN/MSNBC circle of talking heads who rose to prominence while talking about bringing down Trump via Russian Collusion? I’m sure that Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon would love to have Mike back on being they practically made him a co-host for months. Maybe even headline a fundraiser to help out their pal.

Possibly, though, Avrenatti just learned the hard lesson of living fast in the political lane of big-time politics in America. Once you are no longer useful to the media talking heads they no longer will take your calls or return your texts.

Such a shame, I was hoping for at least a couple more months out of Avenatti and his carnival barking.
