Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
No matter if you are a fan of Michael Avenatti or can’t stand his guts you have to admit he has had a pretty bad run since the Kavanaugh hearings.
He found a woman who said Justice Kavanaugh did really bad things but couldn’t back it up and now have been referred for a criminal probe according to CNBC.
He was kicked out of his cool law offcie digs in Newport Beach, California for non-payment according to the New York Post.
Then there was that arrest of him on some yet to be named charges according to the Washington Post
This is enough to make any creepy porn lawyer sad.
Following ALL of this is an underreported story from last Thursday with the client of Avenatti who helped put him on the national map as the scourge to Trump. His most famous client, Stormy Daniels, is not unconditionally supporting him in his fight to clear his name of the domestic abuse accusations.
When she spoke to the Oxford Union just last week this is what she had to say about the events of the previous day with Avenatti. According to Newsweek
During the event, Daniels also addressed Wednesday’s arrest of her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, over domestic violence allegations. She echoed a statement made earlier Thursday, saying that “right now they’re just allegations and I’m gonna reserve judgement.”
“If the allegations turn out to be true,” she said, “then I will definitely be seeking new representation.”
That was last Thursday and she has not made a comment since about this.
In the era of the #MeToo movement, we are supposed to jump to the conclusion that any women who claim abuse must be believed even if the said person has zero evidence to back up the allegation. Christine Blasey Ford gained Michael Avenatti unwavering support when she spoke up with 30+ year fuzzy memories.
Does that mean that Daniels tepid support of Avenatti at this time means she might be sick of the circus sideshow he likes to make everything? Maybe.
If Michael Avenatti most famous client were to dump him cold as her legal representation that would just continue the bad 2 months for the wannabe Trump of the legal world and I would imagine he would just be hoping for 2018 to end as soon as possible.
Maybe if Mike is nice to POTUS 45, Avenatti could score a sweet deal on a new law office in the Trump Tower. We know he is looking for a new place real soon.
Stranger things have happened.
