I Still Love Ya Pal

Just hours after the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to move Brett Kavanaugh’s vote to the floor of the Senate and a one week delay was agreed to by the Senate Majority to have the F.B.I. do a week-long investigation, Pres Trump ordered one.

According to a tweet by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders…

“I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”

This after an odd day in the Judiciary committee that had Sen. Jeff Flake for a bit play kingmaker.

According to CNBC…

Sanders’ tweet came just hours after Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., called for a delay in Kavanaugh’s final confirmation vote by up to a week to allow the FBI to investigate “credible” allegations of sexual misconduct against the Supreme Court nominee.

The announcement is a dramatic concession from Trump, who had strongly endorsed Kavanaugh in the wake of the judge’s incendiary testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee a day earlier.

People are all wound up on the GOP side about this and the concern is legit. However, this takes away the only bettering ram the Dems have. We know Kavanaugh has nothing in his background and no matter what doo-doo head the Porn Lawyer crew pull up won’t matter.

This issue of whatever happened 36 years ago was put to bed last night in the hearings on Capitol Hill.

The Democrats just don’t know it yet.
