Well, what do you know? Lindsey Graham is getting feisty.

In an interview, this morning on Fox News Sunday the Senator from South Carolina was asked about the mess in the Senate Judiciary Committee with on again off again accuser Christine Ford but that is not what was interesting. He dropped some bombs on the Justice Dept.

According to The Daily Caller…

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham asserted Sunday that the Department of Justice and FBI are waging a “bureaucratic coup” against President Donald Trump.

“During the campaign, it’s clear the Department of Justice and the FBI were tipping the scales for [former Secretary of State Hillary] Clinton. This revelation after President Trump was sworn in shows they were trying to undermine the election. There’s a bureaucratic coup going on at the Department of Justice and the FBI and somebody needs to look at it,” Graham said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

Graham, a Republican who has grown close to Trump in recent months, was asked about a New York Times report that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offered in May 2017 to wear a wire during meetings with Trump.

Whoaaaaa. One of the establishment elite just went all deep state.

Yet if you want to criticize people for being RINO, establishment types you better recognize when they take a stand on something that is seen by non-D.C. insiders.

Sen. Graham is right on the money here. Something is not right. He is so right that later on in the program Bob Woodward poo-pooed the idea of another special counsel for the Justice Dept. When the guy who is still living off of Watergate says don’t do an investigation of something, you start that probe tomorrow.

Graham further explained himself…

“He shouldn’t fire Rosenstein, unless you believe Rosenstein is lying,” he said. “I don’t know what Rosenstein did, but I know what McCabe, Ohr, Page and Strzok did,” referring to Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

“They tried to destroy this president. If Rosenstein is involved he should be fired. If he is not involved, leave him alone, but he can’t make that decision,” Graham said.

After Trump during the 2016 primary gave out Sen. Graham phone number I bet you never would hear him echoing a Trump talking point but here we are.

Thankfully there is other news going on than the Kavanaugh stuff and Sen Graham deserves thanks for saying this out loud!!!
