Federal law enforcement has once again descended en masse on the sanctuary city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, site of last winter's federal crackdown on illegal aliens who made the area their home due to its lax immigration policies. This time around, the feds reportedly have their sights set on one thing: fraud being committed by Somali-operated businesses in the Twin Cities area.

And, yes, the now-infamous "Quality Learing Center" is part of the raids being conducted Tuesday morning by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Of note: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) does not seem to be part of the current operation.

Fox News' Bill Melugin broke the story on X, reporting that "FBI and HSI agents are currently raiding 20+ locations in the Minneapolis, MN area in relation to ongoing federal fraud investigations." A DHS spokesperson commented: “Today the FBI with federal, state and local law enforcement is involved in court-authorized law enforcement activity as part of an ongoing fraud investigation.”

BREAKING: DOJ confirms to @FoxNews that FBI and HSI agents are currently raiding 20+ locations in the Minneapolis, MN area in relation to ongoing federal fraud investigations. Sources tell FOX the locations are largely Somali linked businesses, including the infamous "Quality Learning Center". I'm told these are court approved search warrants being served and they are tied to fraud, not immigration enforcement. Fox is told 22 search warrants  were executed in Minnesota this morning.

DOJ spokesperson holding statement:

“Today the FBI with federal, state and local law enforcement is involved in court-authorized law enforcement activity as part of an ongoing fraud investigation.”

Federal authorities executed 22 search warrants as part of the operation, which has been described as being "not immigration-related."

New Twists in Viral MN Daycare Story Amid Puzzling Response From Officials

Luckily, there's video of everyone's favorite Somali run "daycare center" getting their surprise wake-up call from the feds.

#BREAKING: Sources tell Fox that federal agents raided about 22 businesses across Minneapolis this morning, many of them tied to Somali-owned operations. One of those search warrants is being served at the “Quality Learning Center,” which went viral after a sign outside misspelled “learning.”

The Quality Learing Center, of course, became the infamous face of Somali-linked fraud in the Twin Cities area after independent journalist Nick Shirley and his camera visited the "ghost" daycare center. His now-viral video showed that the center, despite receiving taxpayer funding, had no pupils enrolled.

Vice President JD Vance took to X on Tuesday morning to share Melugin's tweet, adding, "The task force and the DOJ will be relentless in exposing these fraudsters wherever they may be hiding."
