Right on cue, just as the fun was beginning in New York City and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade was getting underway, a group of Pro-Hamas disrupters decided they'd plop themselves down on the wet pavement at W. 55th Street and Sixth Avenue and block Ronald McDonald.
The few dozen protesters, who were shouting "Free, free Palestine," were booed by the crowd, who replied with their own chants of "USA! USA!" The New York Police Department (NYPD) wasn't having any of it, and quickly began dragging the mob away.

It took the NYPD about five minutes to clear the parade path, and the balloon line leader got things going again by shouting to the audience, “Ronald McDonald, everybody!”
Video shows some unruly protesters being pulled away and flipped over onto their stomachs to be handcuffed while others willingly stood up and walked with police away from the parade.
The footage also captured protesters holding the banner scuffling with cops before they thrown onto the ground and handcuffed on top of their crumpled-up sign.
Twenty-one of the protestors were reportedly arrested.

This is the second year in a row that the pro-Hamas crowd has pulled this joyless, Grinch-like nonsense at the Macy's parade. Last year, several of them glued their hands to the street and poured fake blood on each other while screaming, "From the river to the sea!"
Democrat mayor Eric Adams had a message Wednesday for anyone who planned to be a nuisance and stop the parade: “I really want to take the moment to tell those grinches that believe they are going to disrupt the parade that it is not going to happen."
These radicals have been at it for over a year now, since the October 7, 2023, massacre in Israel perpetrated by Hamas terrorists. Even though some of their own countrymen are still being held hostage in Gaza, the mob keeps on storming across college campuses, ripping down hostage posters and generally doing their cause no good by annoying absolutely everyone around them. Not to mention that their cause, the elimination of the state of Israel, is deeply antisemitic and unpopular with Americans.
As RedState reported last year, the pro-Hamas crowd promised to disrupt holiday shopping, vowing to "descend on shopping destinations to further what they see as their 'global movement' to 'free Palestine.'" Although their movement is somewhat diminished by the election of Donald Trump, we're likely to see some small protests pop up as we head into peak shopping season.
Although they'll probably be released right away -- it is New York City, after all -- it's nice to see the NYPD cuff 'em and stuff 'em. Even better, how great was it that the parade watchers shouted "USA! USA!" right back at them? Right in the heart of deep blue New York City, too.
Things are changing.
