Here's the entire text of the announcement:
I am pleased to announce that the Highly Respected former Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee, has been nominated to be The United States Ambassador to Israel. Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years. He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him. Mike will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East!
The move by Trump is being widely praised, as Huckabee is a fighter and fierce supporter of the state of Israel.
An excellent choice. Governor Huckabee embodies a profound commitment to Israel, rooted in his deep religious conviction and his understanding that America and Israel share common values and common enemies. A powerful message: Trump’s stands firmly with Israel. https://t.co/cjKp57r55V
