The Friends of Israel Are Stepping Up!

I asked recently if President Trump had started something, when he announced the U.S.’ intentions to move our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, signaling that the U.S. recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Following on the heels of Trump’s announcement, Romania, one of the few nations that stood with the U.S. when the United Nations General Assembly voted to condemn us for Trump’s announcement, announced their plans to move their embassy.

Now, a third nation has announced their intent to do the same.

Guatemala has stepped up.

President Jimmy Morales tweeted out the announcement:

“Dear people of Guatemala, today I spoke with the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. We discussed the excellent relations that we have had as nations since Guatemala supported the creation of the state of Israel,” Morales wrote on his official Facebook account.

“One of the most important topics was the return of the embassy of Guatemala to Jerusalem. I am therefore informing you that I have instructed the chancellor to initiate the process  to do so.”

Guatemala was another nation that stood by the U.S. and voted against the UN’s non-binding resolution.

Way to go, Guatemala.

Apparently, we’re not the only ones fed up with that sick cabal of dark hearted anti-Semites in expensive suits.
