Then again, if you’re like me and didn’t run out to get those special glasses that are supposed to enable you to stare directly into the eclipse, this may be a good way to view it safely.

This is the first total solar eclipse in 99 years. Some see it as a harbinger of great, mystic portent. Others just think it’s cool and they want to be able to say they watched it happen.
