Republican Congressman Asks the Question of the Decade About Clinton's Emails

It’s a really good question, actually.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz appeared on Fox News and spoke with host Bret Baier about the revolving door on the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.

Earlier in the day, Chaffetz had released the notice from FBI Director James Comey that they had not changed their mind about letting Clinton off the hook, after examining recently discovered emails from a laptop that was apparently shared by Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, and her perverted, estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.

Chaffetz then delivered a question for the ages:

“If she thinks she’s clean, then tell everybody around her to go ahead, stop pleading the Fifth, come to Congress, and tell us the truth because the closest people to Hillary Clinton, they keep pleading the Fifth,” Chaffetz said during a Fox News interview on Sunday.

“Maybe it’s time they stop doing that and actually tell the truth to the American people. They haven’t done that yet,” he added.

Fine point, indeed.

Everyone in a position to know anything about what really went on with Hillary Clinton and her private server have either pled the Fifth or have been granted immunity by President Obama’s Department of (In)Justice.

Is this collusion at the top of our government?

It absolutely is.

Chaffetz, who serves as the chairman for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, said last month that House Republicans were gearing up for “years” of investigations into Clinton should she win the presidency on Nov. 8.

And you can also prepare for years of obstruction by any Democrat sitting on that committee.
