She was supposed to give a press conference this afternoon, in regards to her lawsuit against Donald Trump, alleging he had raped her in the 90s, while attending parties thrown by convicted kiddie-toucher, Jeffrey Epstein.
The nature of the press conference is not known, and I guess it just won’t be. Lisa Bloom, the attorney who has taken up the case addressed the media.
“Jane Doe has received numerous threats today, as have all the Trump accusers that I have represented,” Bloom told reporters.
“She is living in fear. She has decided that she is too afraid to show her face. She’s been here all day ready to do it. But unfortunately she is in terrible fear.”
The woman filed a lawsuit over the summer that alleges that Trump and Jeffrey Epstein raped and sexually abused her at a series of parties in 1994, when she was 13. Epstein is a New York financier who was convicted of soliciting prostitution from young girls in 2008.
Call me a skeptic, but maybe just dangling the news of a press conference to the public would be enough to stir interest in a case that has otherwise been ignored.
