Democrats and their media allies are truly despicable people for cynically exploiting a serious public health crisis for political purposes. It is obvious to any open-minded observer, too. Where are the positive recommendations that could actually help in handling the crisis? Nowhere to be found.
The latest in a long line of clowns to praise the Chinese “response” to the Wuhan virus when it is public knowledge that the ChiComs tried to cover up the virus and delayed informing the world about the outbreak for WEEKS is a Democrat senator from Michigan, Gary Peters, as reported here:
Democratic Michigan Sen. Gary Peters on Friday praised the Chinese government as the deadly disease which started in China continues to spread throughout the world.
Peters went on Morning Joe to discuss the crisis and was asked about how the U.S. avoids a recession, to which he began to praise the Chinese government, especially naming the Hubei province, saying they handled the spread of the virus very well and that the United States needs to follow in China’s footsteps.
Simple put, China’s cover-up has cost lives. Yet this sitting senator praises their “actions”? Completely disgraceful.
The political class and other assorted globalists like Peters facilitated the transfer of US manufacturing and production facilities to China – for pennies on the dollar. Open trade has resulted in one of the biggest wealth transfers in human history, and the ChiComs are among the beneficiaries, as noted here. And the automobile industry – especially parts production – may have been hardest hit.
Which makes me wonder what the United Auto Workers and other union employees in Michigan think when they see their US senator praising the ChiComs. One can only hope that the Democrats will pay a severe price at the polls in November as Americans come to recognize that Democrats are playing politics with the Wuhan virus while kowtowing to the Chinese.
It’s clear that the Democrats see the coronavirus outbreak as an opportunity rather than an epidemic. Having failed to bring down President Trump with ridiculous conspiracy theories involving Russia and Ukraine, they are desperately attempting to convince the public that he is somehow exacerbating the COVID-19 crisis. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, for example, issued a joint press release Sunday that included the following fiction: “President Trump continues to manufacture needless chaos within his administration and it is hampering the government’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.” Predictably, Pelosi and Schumer fail to provide any objective facts to support this claim.
And just as the polls turned against Democrats and toward the President during the impeachment farce, so have the polls turned to support the President’s response in dealing with the Wuhan virus, as reported here.
A majority of Americans now approve of President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey, as the administration has issued stricter federal guidelines in recent days and the president has adopted a more public-facing role in combating the disease.
An ABC News/Ipsos poll released Friday reports that 55 percent of respondents approve of Trump’s management of the public health crisis, while 43 percent disapprove.
Imagine what the numbers would be without the constant negative drumbeat from Democrats and their lickspittle media!
