The House Homeland Security Committee led by Tennessee Republican Mark Green is preparing to start its impeachment hearing of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday, and to set the stage, they have released an epic supercut that shows why he needs to go away.

The situation on our southern border is a barking shambles. During the three years of Biden's war on America, over 12 million illegals have crossed into the United States. That is nearly as many a crossed during two Obama and one Trump terms in office.

The policies implemented by Mayorkas are directly responsible for the surge in illegals crossing our border. In a speech at Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday, Speaker Mike Johnson made it clear why our border was being inundated with people openly violating our laws.

According to Speaker Johnson, 70 percent of the border crossing could be prevented by simply reinstating Trump's policies that Mayorkas has uprooted.

Articles of impeachment have been introduced in the House, and the opening gavel sounds on Thursday.

The video neatly ties together two issues. It juxtaposes Mayorkas's blatant lies to Congress and the American people with images of the nightmarish chaos along the Mexican border. The video sets the predicate for the testimony that will take place later and serves as a counterpoint to the media covering for Biden on the unchecked invasion we are experiencing.

Even though the chances of getting a Democrat-controlled Senate to convict Mayorkas are slim, at least the House is making an attempt at establishing accountability. If handled properly, this will resonate with voters in the fall.
