Today, President Trump visited the battleground state of Michigan to talk to autoworkers in Ypsilanti. The plant he visited was one which had retooled in a very short period of time to start churning out ventilators that the various bullsh** models driving our response to Wuhan virus claimed would be needed but which will undoubtedly be processed a scrap metal without ever having been used. While there he took swings at various policies the loons running Michigan have put into place including a rather transparent scheme to lay the groundwork for an all-mail-in general election.
It is well known that President Trump refuses to wear one of the stupid face masks that are de rigueur with the virtue signalling set and have been label by some as the ‘mark of the beast’ because, as foretold in Revelations (Revelations 13:17 to be precise) because in our more fascist jurisdictions you can neither buy nor sell without wearing one. In fact, Michigan’s deputy Karenwaffe (Ace coined the term but it is so appropriate), Attorney General Dana Nessel, issued an ‘open letter,’ or perhaps ‘waved a red cape,’ to President Trump. It is hilarious in the extreme as she claims to have the authority to block Trump’s visit to the Ford plant and tells him that wear a facial sanit… I mean a face mask is a legal requirement under Michigan law. Here it is, in part.
Executive Order 2020-91 requires that manufacturing facilities “suspend all non-essential in-person visits, including tours.” (Section 4) It also requires facilities to coinduct a daily screening protocol for employees and “any other individuals entering the facility” (Section 4), and that everyone and “any other individuals entering the facility” (Section 4), and that everyone on the worksite be “kept at least six feet from one another to the maximum extent possible.” (Section 1) Moreover, Executive Order 2020-92 requires that any individual able to medically tolerate a facial covering wear one when in any enclose public space. (Section 15) We know that For Motor Company takes the legal requirements of the Governor’s Executive Order very seriously. In fact. a spokesperson for Ford has confirmed that the company shared its safety protocols with the White House in advance of your trip.
While my Department will not act to prevent you from touring Ford’s plant, I ask that while you are on tour you respect the great efforts of the men and women at Ford — and across this State — by wearing a facial covering. It is not just the policy of Ford, by virtue of the Governor’s Executive Orders. It is currently the law of the State. Michigan has been hig especially hard by the virus, with more that 50,000 confirmed cases and 5,000 deaths. Therefore, we must all do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19. Anyone who has potentially been recently exposed, including the President of the United States, has not only a legal responsibility, but also a social and moral responsibility, to take reasonable precautions to prevent further spread of the virus.
That didn’t work out all that well for her.
In the days leading up to it, questions were raised about whether or not the president would wear a mask while touring the facility, as the Ford plant requires for safety reasons. Trump previously opted to not wear a mask during a visit last week to the medical equipment factory in Pennsylvania.
Ford initially released a statement saying the plant notified the White House of its mask requirement, then later clarified the decision would be left to the White House. Michigan’s attorney general then wrote an open letter to the president saying it was his “legal responsibility” to wear a protective face covering, given current state orders.
“I ask that while you are on tour you respect the great efforts of the men and women at Ford — and across this state — by wearing a facial covering,” wrote Attorney General Dana Nessel.
On Thursday, Ford issued a statement saying CEO Bill Ford “encouraged President Trump to wear a mask when he arrived,” and that the president complied “during a private viewing of three Ford GTs from over the years.”
The statement added: “The president later removed the mask for the remainder of the visit.”
This letter reads like a parody of how you might think a clueless and unaware state official might address the President of the United States. And n the best Karenwaffe tradition, she demanded to talk to Trump’s manager…well, she effectively threaten to ban him from visiting the state.
“This is not a joke… He’s conveying the worst possible message to people who cannot afford to be on the receiving end of terrible misinformation.”

I really hope President Trump schedules a rally in Michigan or decides to visit the toxic dump that is Detroit. And refuses to wear a face mask.
What President Trump has done to undercut the idiocy foisted upon the nation by people who really don’t care if you die but care immensely about being able to tell you how to live is truly amazing. I hope more and more people start actually using some commonsense, start looking at actual data and not just mainlining the latest wild-assed guess from some model, and get on with their lives
