Yesterday, it was announced that three senior members of the administration’s Wuhan Coronavirus Task Force had voluntarily submitted to ‘self-quarantine’ based upon their brief and distant encounter with someone in the White House; it is suspected the person in question is Trump’s military enlisted aide who tested positive last week.

Three members of the White House coronavirus task force will self-quarantine after possible exposure to COVID-19, administration officials said Saturday.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control, will quarantine for 14 days. Stephen Hahn, the head of the Food and Drug Administration, has already gone into quarantine.

From the earliest days of this contrived attack upon the American economy and the very culture of the nation, it has become difficult to take any utterance by officialdom at face value. Virtually every decision that has been made has had 1) aggrandizement of power to unelected bureaucrats, 2) erosion of Constitutional rights by a surprisingly large number of elected officials, 3) the willful destruction of the US economy, and 4) vacuuming up federal cash as their real objective. The ‘public health theater’ we’ve been subjected to by this infestation of ninnies and Karens has as much to do with our health as the TSA tossing shaving cream containers from your luggage has to do with preventing terrorism. So, when these men — men of science who are supposed to be saving us from Chinese Lung AIDS — ‘self-quarantine’, especially when the rest of the White House is pretty much ignoring it…

…one has to wonder why.

As I said, I’ve long passed the point of giving the benefit of a doubt to these people and what struck me was the distinct possibility that this is what is in store for the rest of us. Across the country, various levels of government are gearing up to hire tens of thousands of people as ‘contact tracers.’

We don’t know exactly how it will work, but, given the degree to which the American media and much of the American left looks to China for guidance on how things should really be done, we have some clues. In China, coming into contact with a person who has Wuhan virus triggers mandatory quarantine…pretty much like what Fauci and friends are doing. Oh, wait, we do know how this will work. This is how the director of the Ventura County, CA, health department, Dr. Robert Levin, CORRECTED a story that his office would forcibly remove people from their homes to quarantine them:

“If you have the illness and you stay in your own quarters or in your hospital room, that’s called isolation,” he continued. “If you don’t have the illness, but you were exposed to someone who did, but we want to watch you for the period of incubation, where you might come down with the illness and might be contagious and give it to someone else, that’s called quarantine.”

“We’re looking to not only isolate everyone, but we’re looking to quarantine the contacts of the isolates we have who have COVID disease. Now, we’re going to get – because of increased manpower and because of increased testing – more and more meticulous in our ability to do this,” he said. “And, what we anticipate that’s going to happen as a result of this, is that we’re going to drive our numbers way down and that’s what we want to see.”

We also know that at least one state has attempted to use directed self-quarantine as a way of punishing people who ignore the draconian and anti-science policies being instituted by power-mad bureaucrats and would-be Gauleiters. When Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear (by the way, I really hope you freakin morons who bought the tripe from the teachers’ union and voted against Matt Bevin are seriously suffering) decided that it was illegal to go to church, this is how he punished dissent:

State and city officials warned people against going to in person church services, and even drive-in services in some cases.

Governor Andy Beshear followed through on a promise he made Friday – there will be consequences for people who attend in person Easter services.

“Understand that this is the only way that we can ensure that your decision doesn’t kill somebody else,” Gov. Beshear said.

Shortly after the service started at Maryville Baptists Church, Kentucky State Police troopers put notices on people’s cars saying their license plate has been recorded. The notice also said:

“Employees of the local heath department will be contacting those associated with this vehicle with self-quarantine documents, including an agreement requiring this vehicle’s occupants and anyone in the household to self-quarantine for 14 days.”

The current protocols for contact tracing do not allow tracers to tell you who you came into contact with, you have to take it on faith that you did, in fact, come into contact with such a person. It isn’t hard to see this model being used against any person or group who fights this silliness. You can actually lock them up forever via a rolling series of 14-day self-quarantine orders imposed without the ability to legally challenge them.

And if you think Levin misspoke about dragging you from your home and locking you away is farfetched, I’d only suggest that you have not been paying attention.

As I said, nothing, nothing that is being done in response to this virus is being done to protect you or your family. It is either theater designed to give the impression of action (like mandatory wearing of masks) or it is focused on changing society (creating mass unemployment and the need for more government handouts). Fauci and his partners going into self-quarantine is just a warning of what is in store for all of us if we passively go along with this nonsense.
