Why Did the Network Sunday Shows Blacklist Trump Administration Officials This Week

On any given Sunday, you will find someone from the Trump administration on one of the Sunday shows. Not this week. This is the lineup:

  • ABC’s “This Week” — Democratic presidential candidates Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg.
  • NBC’s “Meet the Press” — Buttigieg; Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
  • CBS’ “Face the Nation” — Buttigieg, Sanders; Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; China’s ambassador to the United States, Cui Tiankai.
  • CNN’s “State of the Union” — Buttigieg, Sanders; Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez.
  • “Fox News Sunday” — Buttigieg

In fact, White House Secretary Stephane Grisham complained about the blacklisting on Sean Hannity’s show.

Why would that be. This week was a huge week for the administration. There was an incredible jobs report, the State of the Union address laid out a half dozen significant policies, there is coronavirus, the acquittal vote in the Senate, a major terror figure killed in Yemen. There was Trump’s speech from Thursday, and the firing of Ambassdor Sondland and the Vindman family. If you want to talk about the Iowa caucuses, why not mention DHS being given the stiff arm in testing the scam-ware that the Democrats used to report results? In short, there was an avalanche of major stories this week involving the Trump administration and nearly all of them were very positive.

This is sort of laughable. One of the things Grisham has successfully done is rein in the role of press secretary from media personality to the person who manages the White House’s media operation. Plus, why would you go on the lowest rated Sunday Show to talk to the guy who hosted the Parkland school shooting hate-fest?

From the guest selection, it is obvious that the Democrat-Media Complex, which is totally subsuming FoxNews Sunday under the woke NeverTrumper Chris Wallace, is interested in pimping Pete Buttigieg as an alternative to Joe Biden. They are also interested in trying to erase the stench of incompetence from the Democrats after impeachment and the Iowa Caucuses. What they are not interested in is giving the Administration any coverage that does not involve the latest manufactured scandal.
