Welcome Nick Searcy to RedState

RS is thrilled to announce Peabody Award Winning International Star of Film and Television Nick Searcy has joined the RedState team and will be penning a semi-monthly column. Read his first essay here.

If you’re on Twitter you’ve seen Nick bringing smoke on the left and Vichy Republicans. In fact, Wikipedia has devoted a section to his social media escapades.

Nick is one of a handful of conservatives in Hollywood and we look forward to him using the pages of RedState to carry the fight to the left on their home ground because, as Andrew Breitbart said, politics is downstream from culture.

Former infantry officer, CGSC grad and Army Operations Center alumnus. Also an amateur historian (Colonial America) and a dabbler in historical fiction.
