Andrew McCabe Finds an Amazing Source for His Legal Defense Fund

If you were an adult back during the eighties, you definitely heard this or saw the bumper sticker: “It will be a great day when our schools get all the money they need and the air force has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber.”

Well, now we’re seeing the bake sale part of the equation play out in a pretty amazing way:

Andrew McCabe – the top FBI official by fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions hours before his planned retirement – is now soliciting donations online for his legal defense fund.

The site on Thursday afternoon showed hundreds of people donating between $5 and $1,000 each, totaling at just around $27,000.

It says a legal defense fund is needed because he will likely have to respond to congressional inquiries, as well as the Department of Justice’s Inspector General Investigation and “any potential lawsuits he might consider.”

When you consider the abusive way in which the FBI hammers people for “lying to investigators” there is a certain amount of karma, nay, of schadenfreude, in seeing McCabe experience the same bleeding of family resources that he has inflicted on other people.

McCabe also has a net worth of over $11 million, according to various public reports. This proves that P. T. Barnum was definitely right.
