Earlier today, former CIA director and the man who cast a vote for Gus Hall-Angela Davis (that would be the Communist Party/USA) in 1980 because Ronald Reagan scared him, John Brennan, for lack of a better description, totally lost his sh** after President Trump did his little happy dance to celebrate the firing of Andrew McCabe.
When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America…America will triumph over you. https://t.co/uKppoDbduj

This prompted Samantha Power, the architect of the al-Qaeda takeover of Libya and the ongoing genocide in Syria and the person who unmasked the identities of at two U.S. persons every workday because the duties of UN Ambassador made it necessary. to give President Trump a stern warning.
Not a good idea to piss off John Brennan. https://t.co/VLg94OLL2R

Really? I can see where if you were standing near him in a strong wind that turkey wattle thing he has going could get kinetic and possibly cause damage. Beyond that, or so we’ve been told, he’s a retired guy and the “deep state” is a myth.

It’s amazing how transparent and cavalier Obama administration officials are being with this kind of chilling rhetoric — a confidence enabled by a belief their words and actions will never be called into question https://t.co/Pg7MMlSQhd

Or else what Samantha? Go on, I'd like to hear what happens when an old bitter communist gets "pissed off" at the President. https://t.co/Jr3IEhshAD

These tweets support Trump’s view that Intel chiefs are too political and powerful. https://t.co/caV6XoL8jM

Intel officials and politicos (current and former) in our society should not be feared or held in awe. They (are supposed to) serve us. #publicservants https://t.co/80jAEFy750

If you recall, back in early January 2017, Chuck Schumer warned Donald Trump that picking a fight with the intelligence community was a bad idea:
“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”
This is not how a free society operates. The permanent bureaucracy is always subservient to political leadership and the moment it ceases to be so, it begins to be the enemy of the republic. I think most of us have been appalled at what we’ve learned about the way Comey’s FBI acted. I’m sure that if Dan Coats were diligent, he’d find abuses under Clapper and Brennan that would make us think Comey lack any ambition whatsoever.
Of course, given the performance of Brennan’s CIA, it is more likely than not the bluster of a tired old has-been.
