Earlier today White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci spoke to ABC News.
In the interview he talked about the relationship, or lack thereof, between Donald Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions:
New White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci likened the tension between President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions to a married couple.
When your start not liking each other, Scaramucci told ABC News this morning, “You either reconcile or you separate.”
“They need to either get together or separate,” he said of Trump and Sessions, the nation’s top law enforcement official.
When asked when they will get together, Scaramucci replied, “I don’t know if they will.”
This is similar what he said on Hugh Hewitt’s show (disclosure, Hugh’s show and RedState are both part of Salem Media):
The subtext is that Trump wants Sessions to ask him for a meeting that he intends to turn down.
Now Sessions has responded:

In short, Sessions is saying he’s not going to quit and he’s not going to make any public effort to suck up to Trump. It will be interesting to see how this goes over.
