BREAKING. New Fence Jumping Incident At the White House

A banner unfurled by Greenpeace demonstrators that reads "Resist" is seen at the construction site of the former Washington Post building, near the White House in Washington, Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, after police say protesters climbed a crane at the site refusing to allow workers to work in the area. And then this:

Of course, the last time the White House commended the Secret Service for their response, a guy ran free on White House grounds for nearly 17 minutes.

UPDATE: U.S. Secret Service issues statement:

“On March 18, 2017 at approximately 12:43 p.m., an individual jumped over the bike rack on Pennsylvania Ave in an apparent attempt to get to the White House Fence. The individual was immediately apprehended by United States Secret Service Uniformed Division officers before reaching the White House Fence. As standard operating procedure, Secret Service personnel increased their posture of readiness. Criminal charges are pending.”

They are treating it as criminal investigation and do state that he was apprehended in an “apparent attempt” to breach.
