Bill Weld: Yep, We're In the Race To Make Sure Hillary Clinton Wins

While the logic of saying a vote for Johnson-Weld is a vote for Hillary is flawed and innumerate, that is clearly the way Gary Johnson’s running mate, former Massachusetts governor Bill Weld sees the situation:

Libertarian vice presidential nominee Bill Weld is reportedly more concerned with taking down Donald Trump than campaigning, according to reports.

Despite clearly having no confidence in his running mate, Weld declared that he and Johnson were still “happy warriors” and that Johnson stood behind Weld’s decision to focus on taking down Trump.

“I have had in mind all along trying to get the Donald into third place,” said Weld.

What is more, Weld says that after the election he will probably change parties… to what, he doesnt’ say.

While Weld has called Trump a “huckster” (and I ask you, who reading this has not done so themselves), he has proven himself to be as much of a flim flam artist as the man he claims to despise. He has said that Hillary Clinton is the most qualified person in the race to be president and now we find that not only does he have zero loyalty to the party he’s representing (shades of another northeast liberal in the race) and he’s not trying to win but performing a political cockblock on Trump. In short, Weld might have better table manners than Trump but his character and honesty are exactly the same.
