HMMM. Why Did the Orlando Shooter Visit Gay Clubs And Use Gay Dating App?

Food for thought.

Via The Orlando Sentinel:

At least four regular customers at the Orlando gay nightclub where a gunman killed 49 people said Monday that they had seen the killer, Omar Mateen, there before.

“Sometimes he would go over in the corner and sit and drink by himself, and other times he would get so drunk he was loud and belligerent,” said Ty Smith, who also uses the name Aries.

How about this?

Via the Los Angeles Times:

The gunman who attacked a Florida LGBT nightclub had attended the club before the attack and had used a gay dating and chat app, witnesses said.

Kevin West, a regular at Pulse nightclub, said Omar Mateen messaged him on and off for a year before the shooting using the gay chat and dating app Jack’d.

Perhaps there are very good reasons why a guy who hates homosexuals — in fact, hates them enough to die himself to kill them — repeatedly visits at least one gay club over a period of over a year (and I’ll bet before this is over we find out that this club was only one of several). Maybe he was studying the enemy. Perhaps he enjoyed the decorating. It is harder to explain why Omar Mateen had a gay dating app on his phone and messaged at least one of the regulars several times. More research? Bait? Or something much more elemental and Afghan?
