Now, does this sound fair to you? The store will be required to pay no taxes or rent, yet the neighboring competitors will face those high costs. That is not capitalism, folks.

'Just Asking Questions': All Eyes Turn to Swalwell's Bestie, Sen. Ruben Gallego, As Scrutiny Intensifies

With skepticism growing about Gallego's "shock" and his denials of knowing anything, it's time for the mainstream media to kick into "just asking questions" mode with Ruben Gallego, as they would with Republicans.

Trump Critic Wins Majority Government in Canada

Canada's 10 provinces and two territories are physically 10 percent larger than the United States. But with eight times Canada's population of 41 million, most Americans hardly think of Canada until perhaps their hockey teams compete in the Olympics.

Bearing Arms — Albertans Who Declared Guns to Government Not Getting Paid for Them

Gun control is never about anything but control. It's nothing but a way to make the law-abiding pay, and this is just more of the same. The people who complied are the ones getting screwed. The Albertans who didn't say a thing about their guns? They're the ones most likely to be fine.

HotAir — Donald Trump Pulls the Wabbit Season Trick on Iran’s Mullahs

When Trump says he's holding all the cards, he is. But more importantly, he's holding all the pressure points around the globe and is pressing on them as necessary to get what he wants.

PJ Media — Another Red State, Fully Californicated

Polis leaves office in January of next year, likely to be replaced by either Sen. Michael Bennet or Attorney General Phil Weiser. They're both Democrats, and both promise more of the same policies that have already turned the promise of Silicon Mountain into the sad reality of a failing blue state.

Townhall — After the Fall of Swalwell, Is This Dem Rep Next?

Swalwell dropped out of his California gubernatorial bid and later announced his resignation from Congress. Yet, Shkreli said he’s not done. In a not-so-cryptic tweet, he said that Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) could be next

The Supreme Court will be back at it next Monday, hearing oral arguments in some of the remaining cases on the 2025 Term's docket.

MORNING MUSING

Did you see the visit between "DoorDash Grandma" and President Trump on Monday? It was a cute little interaction just outside the Oval Office exterior doors, with DDG Sharon Simmons delivering a McDonald's order to the president and sharing how the No Tax on Tips policy has benefited her.

Now, I don't know if you know this...but this was highly unusual. Democrat Rep. Melanie Stansbury (NM-01) felt it her obligation to let us know: There are (normally) no DoorDash deliveries to the West Wing!

Ya don't say, Mel? I mean, maybe it's just me, but I feel like the fact that there were cameras there to catch the exchange, that basic security protocols wouldn't have random delivery drivers just sauntering up onto the West Colonnade, that President Trump himself joked about it being staged, that Simmons hails from Arkansas, and that this is all part of the White House's Tax Week messaging, maybe sort of kind of gave that away.

Then again, maybe Melanie's used to explaining things to people who don't have two brain cells to rub together? I don't know. Hopefully, she let them in on the little secret that DJT didn't actually work at McDonald's or drive a garbage truck either.
