This May Be the Silliest Anti-ICE Protest Yet
I guess the best thing you can say is that it wasn't violent. So there is that.
JD Vance Slams Anti-Trump Dems Who Urged Military to Defy Trump’s Orders: 'By Definition Illegal'
Slotkin admitting that she is "not aware" of any illegal orders has created further trouble for the band of self-styled resistance warriors. If there is nothing out there demonstrably unlawful to defy, then anybody who defies orders would be engaging in illegal activity themselves.
It Would Be Nice If the Democrat Elites Would Stop Undermining the Republic
It is hard to believe that the Democrat elites are not doing all this with an intention to overwhelm the American political system, in a manner like what was proposed by leftists, including Saul Alinsky, Richard Cloward, and Frances Fox Piven. They should stop doing this, now.

First Test of Canada's Gun 'Buyback' Scheme Looks Like a Resounding Failure
Whatever the reason, I'm absolutely delighted to see how the Liberals' gun ban efforts are playing out.
'Nobody Is Above the Law' Never Applies to the Left
Democrats normalized members of the Executive Branch disobeying the president in his first term, lionizing the #resistance. Their goal was to render the 2016 election as irrelevant as possible. Sure, Trump was elected, but the goal was to make it impossible to be the Chief Executive.
The Skies Empty Over Caracas As the Dictator Dances
Sunday is actually Maduro's birthday, and the Donald Trump administration handed him the gift of a ghost town airport and more pressure than the one working gas pump in Caracas.
Scott Bessent Explains Why the Dems Shut the Government Down in Less Than a Minute
“Democrats haven't been able to stop President Trump in the courts, they haven't been able to stop him in the media. So they had to harm the American people,” Bessent said.
In other words, these six Democrats done screwed up. Big time.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
It being Thanksgiving week, the critters are largely back in their districts or headed there. No hearings/meetings are set. The big news, of course, came Friday evening with Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) announcing her intended departure in January.

Later in the afternoon, President Trump is set to sign an executive order.

Sec. Commerce - Howard Lutnick — Lutnick recently participated in the White House ceremony welcoming former Israeli hostages.

Full Court Press...
Quite a few decisions of note on Friday/over the weekend, including:

- ❌ LULAC v. Abbott (Texas redistricting) — trial court panel (the two judges sitting in the majority) DENIES defendants' motion for stay pending appeal.

The Supreme Court will start back with oral arguments next week. And we could even start seeing some decisions handed down on cases argued before them early this term — last year, there were two in November.
MORNING MUSING
Okay, we've all seen it — the video "ad" released by prominent Democrat lawmakers with military/intelligence backgrounds that implored members of the military and intelligence community to defy "illegal orders" from the president, without being able to point to any particular such orders.
There has, of course, been a lot of coverage of the reaction to the video, but I'd like to know more about how the video came to be:
- Whose idea was it?
- Who funded it?
- Who scripted it?
- When was the idea for it conceived?
- What reaction were they hoping for (from the president, from the Right, from the Left)?
- Does it violate any UCMJ provisions or other laws/regulations?
I could probably come up with more, but yes, I think more than anything, I'd like to know who came up with the idea and pushed this. I'd like to see an effort made — at minimum via congressional oversight — to shed some light on that.
LIGHTER FARE
I think my favorite part is the horse in the background.
