Details are still scant, and this is a rapidly unfolding situation, but reports indicate that there are multiple victims.
Multiple fatalities have been reported at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Michigan after an unidentified man fired at people in the area, local media reported. Videos from the site showed the church on fire. There are reports that the roof of the church is starting to collapse.
It appears the fire is heavy, and there are issues with roof collapse. Live coverage of the event can be viewed/listened to here.
While the full scope of casualties remains unknown, per the above live coverage, Genesis Hospital was just referenced as "Code Black" and only able to take three more trauma patients.
Per local law enforcement, it appears that the shooter is down:
There’s has been an active shooter at the church of Latter Day Saints on McCandlish Rd. There are multiple victims and the shooter is down. There is NO threat to the public at this time. The church is actively on fire.
For people on site, the reunification site is the pavilion to the north. Offsite reunification will be at Trillium theater at Holly and McCandlish .

Update - 12:00 PM Eastern:
Genesee County Sheriff Christopher Swanson has provided a brief Facebook update
"Sheriff Swanson, working in conjunction with the federal, state, local authorities. I was asked by Grambling Township, where the scene is active, to put this message out to the community: that there is no more active threat; the shooter is down; we do have multiple victims; the entire church is on fire; and we're working with fire and all those things that happen during active shooter training. This is a dynamic scene, so, the time we are right now, there's going to be more updates. Just know that there's a lot of things that are happening that we are not able to communicate just because of the work that needs to be done. But McCandlish, between Holly and Saginaw is shut down, and we'll be having more updates. But again, people that were here have been evacuated; we do have victims; we're working on that. There's more updates to come, but the scene is no longer a threat at this point."
