#1 - Something Is Seriously Wrong With Michelle Obama — by Bonchie

Understand that this isn't a woman who grew up behind the eight ball. She had good parents who sent her to one of the best high schools in her area. Her college days were spent in the Ivy League. She was given the best jobs. She married a man who became a senator and president. She has two children. Yet, to hear her talk, her entire life has been marred by oppression.

The Obamas are currently estimated to be worth around $70 million. America has been extremely kind to them. There is nothing for Michelle Obama to be complaining about. She could be expressing her gratitude to a country that allows anyone to succeed, presenting herself as an inspirational figure for future generations. Instead, she continues to sow division and discord, painting a picture of her life that doesn't begin to match reality.

#2 - Incredible: The Tables Hilariously Turn on Columbia Pro-Hamas Activists After They 'Occupy' the Library — by Bonchie

How does Islamism spread its influence, given its complete failure to carry out its desired conquest militarily? It does so by feigning victimhood in Western society. That's how they get hundreds of non-Muslims to take over buildings and rename them after terrorist-supporting radicals. That manipulation is purposeful, and it's been very successful. That should scare normal Americans because the more this is allowed to continue, the worse it will get. Islamism is a cancer. It doesn't win overnight, but it spreads and gradually destroys everything it touches.

In the end, Pro-Hamas activists in the United States, just like the real Hamas in Gaza, are cowards. They've been coddled by society and believe they can lash out with impunity. To this point, they've been mostly correct due to feckless, biased prosecutors in places like New York City. The only way to stop this is for that to change. In the meantime, we can at least laugh at how stupid they are

#3 - High Schooler Gets Tax Deductions Explained to Her From Her First Paycheck - Her Questions Are the Best! — by Becky Noble

Mom then goes on to explain the concept of Social Security. Our first-time worker, whose facial expressions throughout say it all, is not buying that scam. Mom then explains filing income taxes. Youngster keeps waiting for the part where she gets her money back. Good luck, kid, we are all waiting for that part. Mom lets her know that this will happen every time she gets paid, and when she files income taxes, there Uncle Sam will be, waiting for his cut. The look on her face is the look we all have.

Good for mom, who explains to her daughter just what happens when you start earning a paycheck. It is a lesson that more parents should teach their kids when they enter the workforce. If they did, more people might connect the dots, that the government's money is really their money, and they take it without asking for it. And who knows, in this video, we may just see a budding young conservative.

#4 - Ric Grenell Drops Some Reality on Kennedy Center Performers Threatening Boycott of Trump Appearance — by Becca Lower

He also hinted that the Center will have a special Christmas show. Maybe we'll get more details on that in the coming months. Anyway, earlier this week, some performers in the traveling cast of "Les Misérables" who were slated to take part in an upcoming charity fundraiser/performance at the Center threatened to boycott it ... because Pres. Trump is set to appear.

On Wednesday, while speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Ric Grenell just laid out the "Les Miz" performers, according to industry publication Variety. First, it seemed this was the first time he had heard the "rumor" about the controversy, then he added, "But the Kennedy Center will no longer fund intolerance.”

He stated that it shows who isn't "professional" in the performance company, and that any producer thinking of hiring any of these performers might be inspired to think again.

#5 - Wow: D.C. Circuit Hands Trump Administration a Huge Win That Will Have Far-Reaching Implications — by Susie Moore

In sum, the ruling holds that the courts do not have jurisdiction over personnel decisions (those belong in front of the Merit Systems Protection Board), do not have jurisdiction over grant termimations (those belong in front of the Court of Claims), and the failure to require a bond for the injunction will cause irreparable harm to the government.

As the thread rightly notes, this ruling firmly highlights critical jurisdictional issues that many of the district court judges have been blithely hand-waving away and, even more critically, reminds the courts that just as the executive needs to follow the law, so, too, do the courts.

I expect there is no shortage of federal judges spending their Saturday afternoon skimming this opinion. It's that big.
