Added note: Our top two stories, by far, were our live blog of election night (and the following day) and our 2024 Election Results page (which is still going strong as we await those straggler races), but I'll share the top five stand-alone stories next to those.

#1 - Trump's Lawyer Makes Letitia James a Deal She Can't Refuse — by streiff

A tougher case is the New York State civil case brought by Letitia James and the fraud prosecution by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in which Trump has been convicted and awaits sentencing; see BREAKING: Judge Delays Donald Trump's Manhattan Case Sentencing Until After Election. This case is more difficult because the DOJ can't order a state to stop its prosecution of a president, though that would be uncharted waters; see What’s Next in Trump’s N.Y. Criminal Case After He Won the Election? - The New York Times. Even though that latter prosecution is at the local level, under New York law, the Attorney General has the authority to take over the case.

Today, Trump attorney Mike Davis used an interview on "The Benny Show" podcast to lay down the law to James and her flying monkeys.

#2 - NBC Forced to Give Trump Two Minutes of Airtime and Boy Does He Deliver: ‘Kamala Broke It, I’ll Fix It’ — by Rusty Weiss

With pressure mounting over the controversy, NBC News filed an Equal Time notice with the Federal Communications Commission late Sunday.

"Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for president in the 2024 national election, appeared without charge on NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' (SNL) for a total period of 1 minute and 30 seconds on November 2, 2024," the notice reads.

The problem, as RedState reported, is that they squeezed Harris' performance in on the last Saturday before the election, meaning even if Trump wanted to do a brief cameo on SNL, it would be impossible.

NBC, backed into a corner over the blatant FCC violation, was forced to throw the GOP nominee a bone. That bone came in the form of two ad spots during Sunday's NASCAR coverage, together with another aired during Sunday Night Football.

#3 - Inject Into My Veins: Pelosi Tosses Fit Over Harris Loss, Dems' Disarray As Kevin O'Leary Finishes Them — by Nick Arama

"There is no point in saying good morning," Pelosi huffed. "Because it certainly is not one."

It's a great morning in America again.

Oh, hey, is Nancy mad that all her machinations just went up in smoke?

Then good, she deserves it all and not only is this a big warning never to try this kind of nonsense again, it's a big repudiation of her for doing this. That hurt her reputation with people, and they wouldn't trust her in the future after such a colossal failure. Obama will also get raked over the coals for this. They may want to blame Biden but it's really on her. Had they been honest about his problems to begin with months ago, they could have had time to have a normal primary and run a competent person -- through the will of the people, not through the hands of the elite.

#4 - Enjoy Some of the Most Unhinged and Delicious Reactions to Trump's Victory on Social Media — by Brandon Morse

Because no one loses it when they lose quite like a leftist does.

I've been specifically looking for some of the best reactions all day, and I think I've found some whoppers for you to enjoy. So sit back, grab your favorite drink, and revel in the sight of crushed enemies driven before you and the lamentations of their they/thems.

The first one I saw today was going to be tough to beat. It's so over the top that I'm still not sure if what I'm looking at is a parody. The account "lexiiivlogs_" on TikTok is just not having a good day. So much so that she had to get into her car and just let it out. All of it. All at once.

#5 - People Can't Believe What Doug Emhoff Just Said—Plus the Story That Elon Musk Thinks Isn't True — by Nick Arama

But Emhoff wasn't quite finished with the cringe with that. There was more when he spoke about his wife, Kamala Harris. His description of her raised some eyebrows.

“Kamala did what Kamala always does. She put her head down and went to work,” Emhoff said.

Yikes. Did he really just say that? That got a lot of attention as the tweet went viral.

But Emhoff wasn't finished yet. He was talking about "bro culture" and the gender gap that Kamala Harris has on MSNBC with Symone Sanders, another Democrat/media person (same thing). Harris has trouble with male voters, including young males. Men are supporting Trump by a big margin in virtually every poll. The Harris team doesn't seem to understand why that would be.
