JD Vance and Trump Surrogates Are Making the Sunday Shows 'Must-See TV'
They haven't had it this good since the glory days of David Brinkley, Bob Schieffer, Tim Russert, and John King.
American voters are worried about the issues that affect them. Right now, that means choosing between keeping the last four years going or changing course.
Calls for CBS to Release the Kamala Interview Transcript Grow Deafening As Their Reputation Burns
Release the transcripts, you lying liars.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
The critters remain out, on the loose, until after the election, but campaigning didn't stop House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) — or Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) — from hitting the Sunday shows with a vengeance this past weekend.

White House What's Up
President Joe Biden has nothing, nada, zilch on his Monday schedule aside from receiving his Daily Brief.
The Homestretch
Aside from delivering remarks about Columbus/Indigenous People's Day (which we'll have more on shortly), Vice President Kamala Harris will be traveling late Monday afternoon to Erie, Pennsylvania, for a campaign event before heading to Detroit, Michigan. She'll follow close on the heels of First Lady Jill Biden, who's participating in a campaign event in Detroit early Monday afternoon, before heading to Oakland County, Michigan, for another campaign event and then on to Madison, Wisconsin, for a third campaign event. Harris running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, will be headlining campaign events in Eau Claire and Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Monday. His wife, Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz, will be campaigning in Easton, Pennsylvania. (Do you get the sense the Harris campaign is zeroing in on Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania?)
Former President Donald Trump will be hosting a town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania, Monday evening.
Full Court Press...
Not a lot of court activity today with it being a holiday — but we've got more oral arguments before the Supreme Court this week. Stay tuned!
MORNING MUSING
Is it just me? Or does it feel like the whole Columbus Day kerfuffle has become yesterday's (last decade's) news? It's like there needed to be outrage for a while, and now, with everything else going on, most people have just become numb to it all. Yes, there are nuances and complexities. No, Christopher Columbus wasn't a saint. I'm still glad he made the discoveries he did. But as for the uproar over it all, it seems like that ship has sailed.
