This headline also implicitly seems to acknowledge being tethered to Biden is bad. Good job there, guys. You got one thing right.

WHAT'S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill...

As the critters start gearing up to get back to work in D.C., there's some talk of including the SAVE Act (prohibiting non-citizens from voting) in the continuing resolution that will be needed to fund the government past September 30. The Homestretch

Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are heading out on a two-day campaign bus tour through Georgia.

Full Court Press...

Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a retooled indictment against Trump in the D.C. case regarding the 2020 election. Trump has shared his thoughts on that.

MORNING MUSING

As I put these together each weekday morning, I make frequent use of Google to hunt down where this campaign is or what's going on in the world of politics. Inescapable is the fact that headline after headline that the algorithm spits out is positive regarding Kamala Harris and negative regarding Donald Trump. We're just a little over two months out, and those who can't abide the notion of a second Trump term are going to be throwing everything and the kitchen sink out as roadblocks. Don't let it discourage you. Keep fighting the good fight.

LIGHTER FARE

It's the patience and deliberation that makes this a 10/10.
