#1 - WATCH: Vivek Puts Media on the Spot With Stunning Questions, Their Response Should Concern Us All — by Nick Arama

"Who here is willing to admit that the Trump-Russia collusion hoax was inaccurately reported by the mainstream media?" he asked of the reporters.

There didn't seem to be any takers to acknowledge that basic truth. They frankly seemed stunned that he would even ask them such a thing. One reporter offered it "wouldn't be really appropriate for answer a question like that."

"Why not?" Vivek asked. "What's inappropriate is lying to the public."

Vivek then went on to say he thought that the public was lied to long after it became known about the Clinton involvement in the Steele dossier.

#2 - Seven Men Gang-Rape Two Toddlers in Shopping Mall Restroom and Post Video Online — by streiff

In my view, several things are driving this phenomenon.

Much of this could not happen without social media. It lets these people search out others with common interests. It lets them share videos and what I'd call "tactics, techniques, and procedures." While pedophiles may be the leading edge, I'm positive that right now, there is a similar “private, by invitation only, forum on the dark web” catering to serial killers.

Second, there is a reluctance by society to recognize that evil exists. Real evil. It is not a lack of impulse control or a personality disorder; we are seeing actual, garden-variety evil. Some people can't be deterred and can't be rehabilitated. We've become too "modern" to accept the presence of supernatural forces. Even Christians, whose entire religion is based on the supernatural, are left trying to find psychobabble explanations for what are patently and obviously evil actions.

#3 - Army Colonel J6 Witness: 'Milley Is the Don Barzini of the Deep State' — by Neil McCabe

“Milley is the Don Barzini of the Deep State," said Col. Earl G. Matthews, the Harvard Law School graduate, who was the senior legal advisor to Maj. Gen. William J. Walker, the D.C. National Guard's commanding general from March 2018 through April 2021.

“He's the most powerful chairman of the joint chiefs in history,” Matthews said. “It was Milley all along, and I didn't realize it. Milley was manipulating this entire stuff from point start.”

The former Guardsman, now serving in the Army Reserve, said that as the joint chiefs chairman, Milley had no legal role in the chain of command; he was simply the president's senior military advisor. However, Milley leveraged his staff in the Pentagon and exploited his relationships with other generals he mentored and favored for promotion so that he ran the Army as his own feudal possession.

#4 - The Washington Post Is in Full-Scale Collapse — by Bonchie

Having a billionaire sugar daddy has helped mask some of the issues plaguing the Post, but the tide can only be held back so long. To lose over 50 percent of its online viewership is catastrophic for an outlet with such high overhead costs. Subscriber numbers have also nosedived throughout the Biden administration.

That last fact is interesting because the trend was originally blamed on Donald Trump no longer being in the news. The former president has been firmly back in the headlines the last year, though, and the Post has continued its downward spiral. If Trump being charged with multiple felonies isn't enough to save the once-storied paper, it's hard to imagine what could.

As to the reasons behind this precipitous fall, I think they are fairly obvious. Nothing the Post produces is worthwhile. Their columnists are boring parrots who all say the same thing, levying the same boring attacks they were levying nearly a decade ago. Even a dyed-in-the-wool liberal can only take so many Jennifer Rubin columns claiming the end is nigh for the nation because Republicans get to vote.

#5 - Biden's Back on Vacation and the Confusion Looks Very Bad — by Nick Arama

If you wondered what Joe Biden would be doing after doing no work for two weeks before giving an angry speech about his opponent, read on. I bet you can guess what he’s doing as of today.

A couple of days ago, I wrote about how Joe Biden hadn't had anything that even resembled work on his schedule in about two weeks, that he spent most of that time on vacation at either Camp David or in St. Croix. That was consistent with his whole time in office where he's spent almost 40 percent of his time on vacation.

But I did note that he would have one thing on his schedule for Jan. 5 -- trying to deflect from his failures by talking about the Jan. 6 riot of three years ago, bashing his opponent former President Donald Trump, and demonizing "MAGA" Americans. It was hilariously presumptuous as he appeared to try to compare himself to George Washington and braving the winter at Valley Forge, which he visited before the speech.
