New Poll on Charlie Kirk's Alleged Assassin Confirms You Don't Despise the Media Enough

In the aftermath of the assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk in September, there was a lot of talk and justifiable outrage among conservatives over the sheer volume of people on the left who thought celebrating his murder was okay, who believed he deserved it for what they described in so many words as his "hateful, bigoted views."

The outrage was not just directed at the deranged people who mocked and cheered his killing, but also the mainstream media, which many on the right felt put a target on Kirk's back thanks to the lies they spewed over the years about his positions on the issues, how they took him out of context, and made him out to be someone he wasn't.

Even after his assassination, outlets like the NY Times were spreading falsehoods about Kirk that would later have corrections issued to them.

Now here we are, three months later, with Kirk's wife, Erika, and their two young children having gone through the first birthday and holiday without Charlie Kirk there alongside them to celebrate. And while no one reading this will be surprised to read that the MSM hasn't changed one bit, one especially infuriating thing to learn is that their misinformation campaign surrounding Kirk's alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, has been largely successful:

Even worse was what they found among students:

Upon hearing the news, TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet noted that concern that the inconvenient facts about Robinson's political leanings would intentionally get lost or otherwise buried by the Usual Suspects in the corporate press was what prompted him and many others to call out late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel over his bogus claim that Robinson was a MAGA guy:

Early on, after Kirk was killed, Vice President JD Vance, a close friend of Charlie Kirk's, nuked the various narratives being spun by the media about Robinson in no uncertain terms, as we previously reported:

"This is a person who grew up in a pretty normal family…who was radicalized by the far left, by the social networks of the far left and by the ideas of the far left," he added. "And got so far down the path of radicalization that he killed my friend [Charlie Kirk]! That is not a 'both sides' problem."
"My friend is dead because of left-wing political radicalization," Vance concluded. "And if you want to cut that [..] out, then be honest about it and look yourself in the mirror."

Prosecutors have alleged that Robinson told his alleged transgender love interest and roommate in text messages that "I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out." Further, there was this:

A charging document filed by prosecutors in court said that Mr. Robinson’s mother told investigators that her son had grown more political, and that his political views had moved to the left over the last year or so. She also told the police that he had become “more pro-gay and trans-rights oriented.” Mr. Robinson’s partner, who was living with him, had been transitioning to being a woman from a man, prosecutors said.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, but when I see things like the above poll results, it is like flashing red in front of a bull.

Media misinformation/disinformation campaigns like this one are a big part of why we do what we do amid the information wars - to discredit them and root out the rot in the corporate media, to thoroughly expose them for their deliberate lies, distortions, and willful omissions of the facts, all of which they do to perpetuate left-wing narratives (including their false portrayals of conservatives) and advance the Democrat agenda.

It's insidious and is the primary reason why trust in legacy media outlets is at an all-time low.
