There are a lot of things one shouldn't say or do if they are a supporter of President Joe Biden, and one of them is to go off half-baked when it comes to his whereabouts.
I don't have exact numbers, but Biden has been on vacation a lot since taking office in January 2021, with the RNC calculating at the beginning of 2024 that Biden had spent nearly 40 percent of his presidency on vacation.
"After nearly three years in office, Biden remains well on track to outpace each of his modern-day predecessors in leisure,” they noted at the time, while pointing to all the trips he'd taken to Rehoboth Beach and Camp David just to name a few places.

So with that in mind, we turn to left-wing author Stephen King, who took to the Twitter/X machine on Labor Day to post a bizarre tweet about how GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) not doing any campaigning that day allegedly showed they didn't care about the working man.
"Trump and Vance aren’t campaigning today, and why would they?" King wrote. "They don’t give Sh** One about the working man."
Sorry, but when did not campaigning on Labor Day start equating to a candidate for public office not caring for the working men and women of this country? I mean one could even argue that campaigning on Labor Day, as Biden and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris did in front of a union audience in Pittsburgh, is nothing more than blatant pandering.
In any event, King was asked in response where Joe Biden had been "for the last 16 days," to which he replied "Doing his job."

Except no, that's not where Joe Biden has been at all:

In fact, this vacation was the at least second one Biden's taken since he was forced to withdraw from the presidential race in mid-July, with the first one being in Santa Ynez, California and the second one being in his backyard in Delaware.
Perhaps most shamefully, Biden couldn't even be bothered to "do his job" while on vacation outside of issuing a simple written statement on the third anniversary of the horrific Afghanistan debacle, where the lives of 13 U.S. servicemen and women were lost thanks to the gross incompetence of the Biden administration.
On the other hand, Trump laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetary in their memory after being invited at the request of some family members, which he has been relentlessly bashed over in the aftermath - both by the media and Democrats including Biden-Harris. Can't make it up.
But back to the Biden vacations, between the ones in August and the many others he's taken during his presidency, many have wondered "Who is running the country?" It's an especially relevant question now as we get past Labor Day and yet Kamala Harris will still be campaigning while Joe Biden is admittedly being sequestered by the Secret Service.
Further, if one wanted to show actual appreciation for the working man and woman, they'd do more than campaign on it - they'd act on it once in office by, among other things, putting policies in place that eased their burden, along with pulling back on cumbersome regulations that make it harder for companies to keep employees and stay in business.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have actually made it harder on the people who they profess to be working on behalf of. And though Biden may not be on the ticket anymore, Harris is, and she is out there as we speak defending their dismal record on the economy, the border, and more. These are just two of many things voters should take into serious consideration before they head to the ballot box this November
