NY Times Lets 'Quiet Part' Slip out in Telling Hot Take on SCOTUS Affirmative Action Ruling

As expected, Democrats from Joe Biden on down and their allies in the mainstream press are absolutely beside themselves with outrage and indignation in the aftermath of the Supreme Court ruling Thursday in a 6-3 decision to effectively strike down the use of affirmative action programs in college admissions.

While the partisan press corps have already told on themselves in myriad ways, with outlets like Politico and CNN using the word “guts” in their headlines, saying that affirmative action had been “gutted,” perhaps the most telling reaction of all from our supposed intellectual betters in the mainstream media came from the New York Times, which posted a dire prediction about what the future allegedly holds for our nation’s higher ed institutions in the aftermath of the ruling:

“The major ruling curtails race-conscious college admissions in the U.S., all but ensuring that elite institutions become whiter and more Asian and less Black and Latino.”

No, really. They actually said the “quiet part out loud” in the breaking news tweet they posted:

The claim, of course, was made without evidence because there is none.

There is, however, fresh and real-time evidence that the unapologetically woke New York Times newsroom is packed full of the very types of disreputable people they claim to abhor, as lawyer/YouTuber Viva Frei explained:

The @nytimes explicitly stating they believe blacks & latinos are intellectually inferior to whites & asians such that they cannot succeed on their own merit.

This is the face of true racism. The not-so-soft bigotry of low expectations.

Congrats, NYTimes. You are the racists you warn others about.

As I noted in my earlier write-up on New York City Mayor Eric Adams telling us who he really was in his racisty reaction to criticism from an elderly constituent who happened to be white, calling her a “plantation owner” who owed him respect because he was the mayor, when people witness the mask once and for all slipping off of leftists in positions of power and influence they should respond accordingly, either by voting them out of office or in the case of the New York Times, ending their subscriptions.

A little shaming along the way doesn’t hurt, either.

Losing support and money along with their reputations taking a ding in the court of public opinion are the only things that get their attention in situations like these.

In an ideal world, the NY Times tweet would have read something like “The major ruling curtails race-conscious college admissions in the U.S., all but ensuring that elite institutions will finally abide by the Constitution in judging applicants based on merit and the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.”

But alas, we do not live in an ideal world, do we?
