As we previously reported, President Joe Biden gave a scripted, angry speech in Georgia yesterday where he appeared confused at times and at one point even mistakenly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris, who also spoke at the rally, as “President Harris.”
During his remarks, Biden shamefully suggested that anyone who opposed federalizing elections was no better than the Democrat racists of the past including George Wallace, Bull Connor, and Jefferson Davis.
But something else he said that’s gotten a lot of attention in the aftermath was on the 2021 Georgia voting law that later sparked a DOJ lawsuit against the state.
Biden invoked the Bible when referring to a part of the law that he falsely claimed “makes it illegal” to give water to people standing in line to vote. Here were his exact words:
Taking away the options has a predictable effect: longer lines at the polls, lines that can last for hours. You’ve seen it with your own eyes. People get tired and they get hungry.
When the Bible teaches us to feed the hungry and give water to the thirsty, the new Georgia law actually makes it illegal — think of this — I mean, it’s 2020, and now ’22, going into that election — it makes it illegal to bring your neighbors, your fellow voters food or water while they wait in line to vote. What in the hell — heck are we talking about? (Laughter and applause.)
I mean, think about it. (Applause.) That’s not America. That’s what it looks like when they suppress the right to vote.
The problem is that Joe Biden (shocker of shockers!) was lying – big time. The “banned water” lie has been out there for a while now and has been debunked a number of times, but it still persists because supposed fact-checkers in the mainstream media are reluctant to get too heavy-handed with their preferred political party.
But conservative writer/digital strategist Greg Price wasn’t shy about calling Biden out on it below, sharing the video while setting the record straight:
Here's a complete lie that Joe Biden is telling about the Georgia voter law.
It does not make it illegal to give people water.
It makes it illegal for people AFFILIATED WITH CAMPAIGNS to electioneer by giving people gifts in line. pic.twitter.com/CjmtvgBncs

Hilariously, Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), tried to debunk both Price and Townhall.com editor and Fox News co-host Katie Pavlich on Biden’s lie:
You are wrong. Here’s the text of the law. pic.twitter.com/argTAYPP2v
— Ted Lieu (@tedlieu) January 12, 2022
…. except in citing the text of the law, Lieu debunked … himself. As Pavlich pointed out:
I know this is shocking, but @tedlieu is a lawmaker who doesn't know how to read laws.
"This Code section shall not be construed to prohibit a poll officer from…making available self-service water from an unattended receptacle to an elector waiting in line to vote." https://t.co/yPBEwD3unG

Is there something in the water in California that makes Democrats there especially fact-challenged? Enquiring minds want to know…
