My RedState colleague Mike Miller reported yesterday on how the “undecided voters” at NBC News’s Joe Biden town hall on Monday did not come off as “undecided.”

There was good reason to be suspicious of some of the particulars of the town hall, as he pointed out. Most were self-described Democrats, Democrat-leaning or had at the very least voted for Democrats in the 2016 presidential election. “None of the attendees were described as a Trump voter or ‘leaning’ towards voting for the president,” Mike also noted.

This at least partially explains why the event came off more like a scripted campaign “infomercial” instead of a substantive Q and A with a presidential nominee.

As it turns out, video evidence uncovered by the sleuths at Free Beacon shows that several of the people NBC News passed off as “undecided voters” had, in reality, previously expressed support for Joe Biden just a couple of months ago … on MSNBC:

Lawyer Peter Gonzalez and marketing executive Ismael Llano posed questions to Biden during a town hall on Monday, when he appeared before what the network described as an “audience of undecided Florida voters.”

Both Gonzalez and Llano, however, were featured in an MSNBC segment in August to explain why they support Biden.

Another “undecided” voter featured in NBC’s town hall, Mateo Gomez, told MSNBC on Sept. 30 that he was leaning toward voting Biden over Trump after watching the first debate.

“The Hill” media reporter Joe Concha found this tweet quoting one of the “undecided voters” from late August:

This is one of the "undecided voters" NBC News invited to its town hall with Joe Biden on Monday.

In addition to that, Concha teased what may be an even bigger story coming about the town hall a few hours after the Free Beacon report went live:

Four years ago, NBC somehow allowed the Access Hollywood tape of Trump to land in the hands of a Washington Post reporter. Four years later, a “town hall of undecided votes” was instead packed with Biden voters unbeknownst to the viewer. This cannot stand. Big story coming.

For anyone inclined to give NBC News and MSNBC the benefit of the doubt here and assume this was an honest mistake, don’t. As I’ve pointed out before, most recently after ABC News’s fraudulent “uncommitted voters” town hall for President Trump a few weeks ago, these things happen far too often for the “mistakes” to merely be coincidental.

The mainstream media are doing for Biden exactly what they tried to do with Hillary Clinton in 2016: Propping him up in every way possible in order to drag him over the finish line a month from now, even if it means destroying what tiny, itty bitty, teensy bit of credibility they might have had left.
