In a new stunning report from Science Magazine, an Israeli study has found that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine provides less protection against COVID-19 than does having recovered from an infection.  According to ScienceMag.org, the study, which confirms what many within the conservative movement have been questioning for the better part of the last year, states that “the natural immune protection that develops after a SARS-CoV-2 infection offers considerably more of a shield against the Delta variant of the pandemic coronavirus than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.”

From ScienceMag.org:

The study demonstrates the power of the human immune system, but infectious disease experts emphasized that this vaccine and others for COVID-19 nonetheless remain highly protective against severe disease and death. And they caution that intentional infection among unvaccinated people would be extremely risky. “What we don’t want people to say is: ‘All right, I should go out and get infected, I should have an infection party.’” says Michel Nussenzweig, an immunologist at Rockefeller University who researches the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 and was not involved in the study. “Because somebody could die.”

Researchers also suggested that getting a single shot vaccination after recovering from a COVID-19 infection can increase your immunity, however, that based immunity is already stronger than the vaccine itself, according to this study.  This isn’t new data as it was published months ago by the University of Minnesota.  Other studies have been reported by some media organizations, which have not changed the CDC recommendations.  Another study has found that survivors with a single dose have an immunity twice that of the fully vaccinated people.  The study also warns against remaining unvaccinated or seeking to intentionally get infected.

This new data is against the recommendations from the CDC, which recommend vaccines for those who have had the virus, nor does it change any of the mandates which require vaccines for anyone, regardless of whether or not they have survived a COVID-19 infection.

But then again, would you really expect the government to follow the science?
