A shooter killed one person and wounded at least four others tonight at a yoga studio in Tallahassee, Florida, before killing himself, according to police.
The NY Post reported that city spokesman Jamie Van Pelt stated that the shooting was a domestic dispute.
According to NBC News, police were called around 5:37 PM ET, while the Tallahassee Democrat reported that a yoga class had been scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM.
Former Florida Representative Ron DeSantis and current Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, who are running for governor of Florida on the Republican and Democrat tickets, respectively, both tweeted about the shooting:
We are also praying for the first responders and the community as a whole as they come to grips with this senseless act of violence.

I’m deeply appreciative of law enforcement's quick response to the shooting at the yoga facility in Tallahassee today. No act of gun violence is acceptable. I'm in close communication with law enforcement officials and will be returning to Tallahassee tonight.
