The annual Army-Navy football game is one of the best traditions in college football. The teams from the United States Military Academy at West Point and the United States Naval Academy first met in 1890, and the game has been nationally televised since 1945.
As you would expect from teams where the players and the students cheering in the stands have made a commitment to serve our country, and the alumni are active duty or veterans, patriotism runs high. This video showing the combined Army and Navy glee clubs singing our national anthem before the game is a must-watch.
The falling snow and frigid temperatures (highs are only expected to reach the mid-30s today in Philadelphia) can’t freeze out their love for America.
