Nebraska Senate hopeful Dan Osborn once bragged that his wife Megan would serve as his “secret weapon” on the campaign trail. Exclusive video shows exactly what that entails—Megan Osborn in full confrontation mode at a rented library event on President’s Day, aggressively kicking people out, and repeatedly declaring “I am his wife” during an uncomfortable exchange.
The bizarre mashup of clips perfectly captures the hypocrisy of Osborn’s “working class independent” image — especially as his family has reportedly raked in more than $350,000 from his campaign coffers and affiliated Political Action Committee (PAC).
"My wife is working for the campaign," Osborn boasts. "That's gonna be a secret weapon."
The secret appears to be that she is entitled, aggressive, and awkward — the exact opposite of the humble "working class" image her husband tries to project. And her primary role seems to be one of enforcer, keeping certain elements from attending what would appear to be public events.
"So we’re going to ask you not to attend the meeting tonight because it’s a rented space," she tells someone trying to get in the door to a local library.
When the individual asks to speak to the librarian, Mrs. Osborn goes on a bizarre gender rant.
"I do want to ask the librarian. Is she in there?" the person asks.
"Yeah, she's in there. It could be a male, but there are, yeah, he or she. But yeah, they have already told us that, yep, we are allowed to invite or uninvite anyone that we would like," Mrs. Osborn counters.

Yikes. The "I am his wife" segment has some serious "do you know who I am" vibes.
The uncomfortable clip perfectly encapsulates the entitled attitude of the very family member whom Osborn has reportedly been enriching at taxpayer and donor expense. While Megan is throwing her weight around as the candidate’s wife, federal filings reveal that Team Osborn has quietly funneled more than $350,000 into the pockets of entities involving his "secret weapon," their daughter, sister-in-law, and other relatives.
Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings reviewed by Fox News Digital earlier this year show Osborn's family members "have raked in north of $370,000."
That money, according to the report, originated from Osborn's campaign and his affiliated PAC, the Working Class Heroes Fund.
An FEC complaint filed by conservative watchdog Americans for Public Trust in March cites even more relatives who may have benefited from the grift, which they claim exceeds $434,000.
Earlier this week, APT filed an FEC complaint alleging that U.S. Senate candidate Dan Osborn excessively paid family members and their businesses from his campaign.

The filing also flags concerns about two PACs tied to his campaign.

Osborn’s campaign and affiliated PAC were initially caught paying $114,000 to Independent Campaigns LLC — a shady consulting firm co-owned by his wife — for “strategy consulting.”
He amended his personal financial disclosure only after the Lincoln Journal Star inquired about the mysterious company.
This is classic family grift: using donor dollars to line the pockets of his wife and relatives while pretending it’s all perfectly normal “campaign work.” Federal rules may not outright ban it, but that doesn’t make it any less sleazy or corrupt in the eyes of Nebraska voters who are footing the bill.

Despite his carefully crafted “independent” and “working class” image, Dan Osborn is a Democrat Trojan horse through and through. He is a client of the far-left Fight Agency, the same radical strategists behind socialist Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral campaign and hard-left Senate candidates like Graham Platner (D-ME) and Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI).
Osborn has been backed and funded by Elizabeth Warren, Jamie Raskin, Chuck Schumer, and National Democrats, and he is actively using ActBlue to raise money thanks to a rule change that benefits fake independents.
But yeah, independent.
Even his campaign operation exposes the grift. Osborn hired two veteran Democrat operatives to staff a committee dishonestly labeled “Conservatives for Osborn,” while bringing on a radical left-wing staffer who previously attended an anti-cop rally featuring severed pig heads and openly called to defund the police.
Charming.
Far from a populist outsider, Osborn is exactly what Nebraska voters have come to recognize: a Democrat-funded candidate pretending to be something he’s not.
Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
