There a lot of folks who want to make sure that President Obama gets voted out of office.  They are the same folks who want to see America vibrant again, with an economy that brings real prosperity to real people.  Let me tell you why I am the candidate who can defeat Obama, and grow the economy.

Mitt Romney is a creature of Wall Street who has shown repeatedly that he is removed from the concerns of normal Americans.  I am the guy who does his own taxes, and knows the economic pressures of raising a family on a tight budget.  Obama is going to wage a campaign of class warfare — who do you think will do better in that battle, him or me?

Mitt Romney has based his entire campaign on his ability to create jobs, but when he was Governor, his state ranked 47th out of 50 in job creation.  Every Republican knows that jobs are killed by regulations and taxes, but while he was governor, Romney increased both.  Who draws the bigger distinction with Obama —  him or me?

Mitt Romney says he is against Obamacare, even though in Massachusetts, he created the model for Obamacare, and wrote in USA Today and has said in many television interviews that he hoped the federal government would adopt his model. So who do you trust to get rid of Obamacare — him or me?

Mitt Romney got elected statewide in a blue state by endorsing and promising liberal principles.  I got elected statewide in a blue state by sticking to my conservative principles, and making my case to the people.  Who do you think will do better against Obama — him or me?

Every Republican knows that government spending is out of control.  Mitt Romney embraced the bailout of Wall Street, and supported the biggest new government program in the last 50 years — mandated health insurance.  Who do you think has a better chance of cutting spending, and taking that case to Obama — him or me?

Folks, the answers to our country’s problems are actually not that complex.  We must cut government spending, beginning with the repeal of Obamacare.  We must cut taxes.  We must cut regulations.  We must pursue an aggressive energy policy.  And we must be able to articulate these beliefs over and over, through the entirety of this campaign, and for the next four years.  Who has a better record of waging such a battle?  Mitt Romney, a man who can’t point to a single conservative accomplishment in his entire political life, or me, a guy who has fought for, and won the battle, for lower tax rates, welfare reform, less regulation, and greater freedom.

In the end, who is the better bet to take it to Obama, and stick to his guns when the going gets tough — him or me?  I think when we look at it in that way, the choice is clear.
