When Joe Biden decided he wanted to run for President in 2016, he wanted a running mate who was at least as inventive as he was. By inventive, I of course mean, derivative, phony and disingenuous. You don’t get more disingenuous than Elizabeth “Senator Lieawatha” Warren. Thus, it should shock nobody that [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ] is on the short bus, oops, I mean short list to be Vice President Biden’s Vice-Presidential Candidate. Oh, and she nails one more commonality with her mentor in mendacity. She is also viciously vindictive. Robert Litan found that during a market downturn, the regulations advocated by [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ] would potentially cost regular investors (Not wealthy) billions of dollars. Ironically, most clear-eyed level-headed people recommend cost/benefit analysis for regulation, as long as it is hypothesis tested without confirmation bias. Regulations cost money because they limit freedom and change standards. But, sometimes society has an interest in that so the higher cost is worth it. Within an hour of the organized attack by [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ], Mr. Litan lost his job.

You see, Robert Litan worked as a researcher at The Brookings Institute. He decided to make like a think-tanker and think. This caused him to wander off of [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ]’s Dialectical Materialism Reservation. It’s as Left Activist Frederick deBoer famously warned the liberals.

In the past year, liberalism as an elite social phenomenon has abandoned first rights of the accused and second the right to free expression. The Jameis Winston and Woody Allen sexual assault cases saw the rise of resistance to any discussion whatsoever of due process and rights of the accused, and in the way of their culture, online progressives moved quickly to a place where anyone mentioning those rights at all were immediately and angrily denounced, and accused of insufficient resistance to (if not outright support for) rape and rape culture. Similarly, the Brandon Eich situation, and now the Donald Sterling fiasco, have prompted this social cohort to change liberalism such that its traditional staunch defense of free speech rights has become instead an assumed disgust with those who talk about free speech rights at all.

Fueled by this highly toxic and charged atmosphere, [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ] could so easily witch-burn an innocuous factotum named Robert Litan. Litan will now never easily work in his chosen field again. His punishment for deigning to disagree with Senator Lieawatha will be enhanced difficulty in paying his bills and feeding his family. Just reprimanding or arguing contra this poor man did not satisfy [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ]’s desire for vengeance. She wasn’t leaving the warpath until she took her scalp.

This is what Senator Biden wants in a potential running mate. This what Progressives want in their warped and sickening vision of the new Amerika. Liberals are through arguing and will forever be proven !TRUE! Or else. The jolly old New England Puritan mentality that made witch burnings possible has become a primary feature of who American Leftists are and how they behave. Like the person who wrote on Vox that the American Revolution was a mistake, the American Progressives are using their power and their positions to take our nation several centuries backwards.
