When we last left Freddy the German World Cup tourist, he had just had his problem trying to get to the Germany game in Toronto solved, and fortunately was able to make it in time.

Germany, obviously knowing Freddy was there, obliged by winning the game against the Ivory Coast, 2-1.

That means that they won Group E and moved on to the Round of 32.

Even in Canada, Freddy hit an American restaurant chain and a classic American dish, the chicken-fried steak.

So what would you do if you were in the Buffalo/Toronto area? If you think of Niagara Falls, that's what a lot of folks recommended to Freddy.

He was suitably impressed.

Here are the fireworks at the Falls, and lighting them up in patriotic red, white, and blue.

And yes, for those who would ask, Freddy took the boat tour.

But he was happy to be back in the U.S., in "the land of the free."

He went to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and saw Michigan Stadium.

One of Freddy's crew had to head back to work, but was trying to get back.

Germany's next game is in Boston on Monday. So Freddy asked people what he should visit between then and now. This was his prospective route.

He got a lot of suggestions, as one might imagine.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) suggested Tony Packo's for hot dogs. For those who watched M.A.S.H., you'll recall this is the place Corporal Klinger was always raving over. DeWine also recommended Cedar Point and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

Freddy was impressed with one suggestion for Mackinac Island.

But this offer definitely got the most attention.

Something tells me Freddy is going to be eating very well when he gets to Boston.
