I didn’t expect to write this column. Zohran Mamdani is a reprehensible Mayor-elect, an actual communist, a radical Muslim, and nepo baby, but everyone on this site already knows that, so I am essentially flogging a dead horse by devoting yet another column to his campaign on RedState.
But, as it turns out, I still needed to do another column. This is because - weekly it seems - we are learning new, more shocking information that shows that the central narrative of the supposed great Mamdani mandate victory for leftism is a complete and utter fraud.
And that is a crucial point, which needs to be expressed and underlined for the public.
Granted, part of Mamdani’s victory is unfortunately all too real, as it comes straight from our deviant educational establishment on U.S. college campuses and K-12 schools. Since the 1970s, the DEI-loving leftist professors and teachers in the United States have produced class after class of miseducated-if-not-moronic “educated graduates” who love communism/socialism/leftism, hate white people, hate men, hate the U.S., believe men can be women, and think the Jews are the central evil throughout the world. Most of these new voters are Democrats, but a sizable number are Republicans as well.
This is well well-known fact, and the Trump administration should (and is) trying to do something about it.
But despite this real component, the 2025 Mamdani “Great Victory” is looking more and more like a fraudulent victory culminating from a campaign and its associates that, over the years, were conducting multiple (alleged) illegalities and “dirty pool” activities (activities which gamed the system but did not rise to actual illegalities). So, let me count the ways that Mamdani and his allies seem to have gamed or even broken the system:
- The most explosive and serious charge is still that the Mamdani campaign benefited from tens of millions of dollars in donations – up to $40 million – that were (allegedly) funneled from George Soros-linked charities as part of an elaborate scheme that may have violated federal tax laws.
- Connected to this, other left-wing sources provided additional (allegedly) illegal/suspect funding for the Mamdani campaign, or against the campaign of Andrew Cuomo. These sources apparently came from many prominent persons, including ice cream commie nut Ben Cohen, actress and Code Pink enthusiast Susan Sarandon, and even family-friendly director Steven Spielberg.
- Mamdani’s 2025 victory came after his allies in the Democratic Socialists of America, Working Families Party, and left-wing foundations worked for years to change city election laws that gave his candidacy a powerful boost.
- The leftists successfully pushed ranked-choice voting (RCV) for the Democrat primary, which voters approved in 2019 after a campaign in which there was almost no organized opposition but proponents, such as a Soros spawn, spent over $2 million. In the primary, RCV allowed the leftists to cross-endorse each other without rancor, which gave them a major edge in the election itself.
- But the leftists did not push RCV for the general election because they knew that this would have hurt the leftists in the general. Josh Kraushaar, the editor of Jewish Insider, stated before the election: “If New York City utilized a ranked-choice voting system as it did in the primary, this race would be neck-and-neck.”
- The leftists supported and constantly worked to increase the funding for the city’s lavish system of public matching funds, which is managed by the Campaign Finance Board (CFB). Originally, the program had a 1-to-1 match between public and private money, but it steadily rose, and in 2018, then-Mayor Bill de Blasio, later a key Mamdani backer, got it up to an 8-to-1 match of the first $250 in contributions from city residents. Mamdani ended up receiving $12.7 million in public matching funds — a majority of his total budget.
- A New York 2006 state-court decision struck down a law prohibiting parties from spending money in the primaries of other parties: That allowed the Working Families Party to fund, organize, and recruit candidates and thus often pick the winners of Democratic primaries. In 2025, this party worked extensively to boost Mamdani and undermine Cuomo.
- The CFB ruled that incumbent Democrat Mayor Eric Adams was ineligible for public financing, alluding to federal allegations that have since been withdrawn. “The CFB's action was election meddling -- the old "guilty until proven innocent" trick.” Not only did this cut off Mayor Adams’ money spigot, but this action also devastated his standing in the polls and turned him into a non-entity in the 2025 campaign.
- Meanwhile, the CFB turned a blind eye to abuses by Mamdani that “violated the spirit, and possibly the letter, of the public campaign finance system.” For example, on May 18, Mamdani urged supporters to donate to former City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams' campaign. Some 370 of his supporters then gave to Adams, making her eligible for nearly $15,000 in public funding. That's taxpayer money going to a candidate who didn't have the grassroots support to qualify.
- Over the years, the Obama and Biden administrations provided an unprecedented surge of immigrants – both legal and illegal – from sometimes hostile and socialist nations to the U.S. and New York City, which supercharged the Mamdani campaign. It is frequently alleged by leftists that the ‘voter replacement theory’ is nothing more than a conspiracy. Except, it’s clearly not, as can be seen from the New York City 2025 election.
The 2025 election of Zohran Mamdani as Mayor of New York City is being promoted by the MSM and other Democrats as a huge event of great electoral significance in the United States. But they certainly aren’t showing a similar interest in the Mamdani campaign irregularities involved in manufacturing this victory, which makes the final results stink to high heaven.
Perhaps the U.S. legal authorities should show more interest?
