BREAKING: Susan Collins Announces She Will Vote to Confirm Kavanaugh

After being immediately interrupted by protesters in the gallery, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) announced Friday during remarks on the floor of the Senate that she will vote in favor of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s ascension to the United States Supreme Court.

Barring any major changes from the cloture vote, Brett Kavanaugh can expect to be the newest Associate Justice on the Supreme Court by Monday.

Given the volatility of the Kavanaugh hearings, Sen. Collins surely expects a vicious backlash for the next few days and weeks, if not months.
